Did you know that 29% of the UK workforce is over 50? Across the western world, older workers are staying in work longer. Because they are less likely to move jobs and may need to work for significantly longer, it is not uncommon for a 50 year old to face up to two decades of working life with precious little job related training offer.
Good learning and development departments are tackling this issue. To give you some background and inspire some positive action for older employees, I’ve created a four minute infomercial. You can see it by clicking here.
